Beetroot Curry with Dried Sprats
Normal Beetroot Curry is a very popular dish in Sri Lanka. Have you ever tried Beetroot with Dried Sprats?
Ingredients
- Beet root – 300g
- Dried Sprats – 50g
- Green Chilies – 02
- Red Onions – 08-10
- Curry Leaves
- Turmeric Powder – 01 tsp
- Chili Powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Curry Powder – 02 tsps
- Salt – 01 tsp (Adjust later)
- Fenugreek – ½ tsp
- Coconut Milk – 02 cups
Method
- Clean beet root and cut.
- Add green chilies.
- Add red onions.
- Add dried sprats.
- Add coconut milk.
- Add fenugreek, Salt, curry powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves and mix well.
- Keep the pot on fire and cook around 10-15mins.
- Adjust salt as per your taste.
