Cheesy Onion Rings

Crispy and golden on the outside, these cheesy onion rings offer a delightful twist on a classic favorite. Each ring is filled with a rich, savory cheese that melts perfectly when fried, creating a deliciously gooey center. Perfect as a snack or side dish, these cheesy onion rings are sure to be a hit at any gathering. You can make about 15 onion rings with these quantities.

Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella Cheese – 200g
  • Big Onions – 02
  • All-purpose Flour – 100g
  • Breadcrumbs – 150g
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Chili Powder – 01 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
  • Eggs – 03
  • Oil for deep frying

How to cook:

  • Cut onions into ½ inch size slices and carefully separate the rings.
  • Place all rings on a try. We need to place big ring to the outer layer and a small ring to the center.
  • Fill the gaps in between onion rings with cheese and freeze them about 01 hour.
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs and keep aside.
  • In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, salt, chili powder and pepper powder.
  • Get the frozen rings, coat them with flour, dip into eggs and then roll on breadcrumbs. Again, dip in eggs and roll on breadcrumbs. Do the same process for all onion rings.
  • Put oil into a pan and heat. It is better to freeze onion rings again until oil heats. Otherwise, it might melt oil.
  • Once oil heated, fry all onion rings until golden brown.
  • Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve hot for a better taste.
