Christmas Gift Brownie Boxes

Ingredients:For the batter

• All-purpose Flour – 150g
• Cocoa Powder – 50g
• Sugar – 250g
• Unsalted Butter – 200g
• Eggs – 03
• Vanilla – 02 tsp
• Chocolate Chips – 100g
• Baking Powder – 01 tsp
• Chopped Cashew – 60g
• Salt to taste

Ingredients:For the icing

• Butter (Room Temp.) – 100g
• Icing Sugar – 200g
• Red Food Coloring
• Green Food Coloring

Ingredients:For the decoration

• Sprinkles (Red, Green & White)
• Red & Green Chocolate Buttons

How to cook:

In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt together.

Beat eggs in advance before adding it to the brownie mixture.

In a large bowl, mix sugar and melted butter in it.

Add eggs to the mixture.

Then add vanilla and prepared dry ingredients.

Finally add chocolate chips and chopped cashew.

When all ingredients are well mixed, transfer the batter into 8” x 8” baking tray and bake the brownie around 40 mins under 180C.

Once the brownie is baked, let it cool down and then cut it into 12 squares.

For the butter cream icing, beat butter until soft and pale in color.

Then gradually add icing sugar until the icing reaches your desired consistency.

Get 02 tbsp of icing to a separate bowl and mix red coloring in it.

Add green coloring to the rest of your icing.

Get brownie squares and spread green icing.

Put some sprinkles on top.

Fill red icing into a piping bag and draw two lines to make it look like a ribbon.

Complete your gift boxes by placing some red and green chocolate buttons in the center.
