Sweet Corn Fried Rice

Sweet corn fried rice, a delicious Asian style fried rice loaded with sweet corn kernels goes with any occasion. This is a simple rice recipe that gets ready in less than 30 mins.

Ingredients:

  • Butter – 03 tbsp
  • Chopped Onion – 01
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 01 tsp
  • Green Capsicum
  • Yellow Capsicum
  • Red Capsicum
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Boiled Sweet Corn Kernels – 01 cup
  • Spring Onion
  • Basmati Rice – 200g
  • Tomato – 01
  • Cabbage
  • Carrot
  • Egg – 01
  • Cardamom – 02
  • Cloves – 02
  • Chili Pieces – 01 tsp
  • How to cook:

  • Melt butter in a pan and add ginger garlic paste, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Add boiled corn kernels, curry leaves and onions.
  • Add carrots, cabbages, and capsicum from all colors.
  • Mix all the vegetables and the add chili pieces, pepper powder and salt as per your taste.
  • Let it sauté around 2-3 mins and then add diced tomatoes.
  • Mix the egg with the vegetable mixture. If you want, you can scramble the egg before and then add it here.
  • When the egg is fully cooked, turn off the flame and add cooked rice into this.
  • Finally combine spring onion with the fried rice.
