Cream Cheese Marbled Brownies

Chocolate Brownies are very common. But Chocolate brownies mixed with cream cheese has its unique taste.

Ingredients: Brownie Batter

  • Margarine – 150g
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate – 200g
  • Sugar – 135g
  • Eggs – 04
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Cocoa Powder – 25g
  • All-purpose Flour – 125g
  • Baking Powder – 01 tsp
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Ingredients: Brownie Batter

  • Cream Cheese – 350g
  • Sugar – 70g
  • Eggs – 01
  • Zest from ½ orange
  • Orange Juice – 25ml
  • Method

    • To prepare cream cheese mixture, beat cream cheese until they become smooth.
    • Add sugar, orange zest and orange juice into this and mix to combine well.
    • Beat the egg in this and then set aside until ready to use.
    • To make the brownie batter, in a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
    • In another bowl, melt chocolate and margarine.
    • Then add sugar, egg and vanilla into the chocolate mixture.
    • After that gradually incorporate flour mixture until well combined.
    • Pour the brownie batter into a baking tray and spread evenly. Reserve little bit from this batter to decorate the top.
    • On top of brownie batter spread cream cheese mixture.
    • Pour reserved brownie batter here and there over the cheese mixture and make patterns.
    • Bake this brownie around 25-30 mins under 180° C.
    • After baking, let it cool down and then cut with a hot knife.
