Soft and Moist Peanut Butter Cake

This soft and moist peanut butter cake with creamy peanut butter frosting is the perfect partner for your teatime.

Ingredients:Cake Batter

  • Unsalted Butter – 120g
  • Creamy Peanut Butter – 200g
  • Water – 240ml
  • All-purpose Flour – 250g
  • Sugar – 400g
  • Baking Soda – 01 tsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Large Eggs – 02
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Fresh Milk – 120ml

Ingredients:Peanut Butter Frosting

  • Creamy Peanut Butter – 250g
  • Unsalted Butter – 200g
  • Icing Sugar – 230g
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp

How to cook:

  • In a pan, melt peanut butter and butter with water until it becomes creamy and smoothy. Make sure to stir continuously under low heat until you get the pan out of the stove. When the butter mixture is ready turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  • Gradually incorporate dry ingredients with the egg mixture.
  • Once flour combined well with eggs, add prepared butter mixture. Beat until it incorporates and becomes smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a 9”x9” baking tray and bake the cake around 35-40 mins under 180C in a pre-heated oven. After baking let the cake cool down completely.
  • To make the peanut butter frosting, beat peanut butter and butter until it is smooth and fluffy.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar into this.
  • After adding vanilla, our peanut butter frosting is ready.
  • Finally spread the prepared frosting all over the cake as the way you want.
  • We can store this cake around 3-4 days in a refrigerator.
