- Roasted Curry Powder – 01 tsp
Method:
- Soak soya meat in hot water like we normally do. After a while filter water and squeeze soya meat to remove excess water.
- Cut this soya into half. If your soya meats are small you don’t need to cut them.
- After that wash dhal and put them into your cooking pot. Add ½ tsp of chili powder, little bit of turmeric powder, salt, cinnamon, some onion, around two garlic cloves, water into this. Cook dhal until they become tender.
- When dhal is well cooked add soya meat.
- After that add chili powder, curry powder, fenugreek, pepper powder, pandan leaves, curry leaves, salt, green chilies, tomatoes, mustard paste, and coconut milk. Thoroughly mix the curry with all and cook until coconut milk cooks well.
- Then transfer the soya curry into a separate pan.
- In a separate pan, heat oil and add chopped ginger and dried chilies.
- Then add pandan leaves, curry leaves, garlic, and onions.
- After around 02-03 mins add roasted curry powder. Then add cooked soya curry into this and mix thoroughly. Cook this around 3-4 mins more and then get out of the stove.
- This soya dhal curry is very tasty than a normal soya curry.
- Enjoy.
