Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl Cookies
Homemade cookies are always a favorite when two flavors are combined.
Ingredients:Vanilla Dough
- Salted Butter – 115g
- Sugar – 100g
- Egg Yolk – 01
- All-purpose Flour – 180g
- Vanilla – 01 tsp
Ingredients:Chocolate Dough
- Salted Butter – 115g
- Sugar – 100g
- Egg Yolk – 01
- All-purpose Flour – 140g
- Cocoa Powder – 30g
Method
- To prepare the vanilla dough, mix butter and sugar until creamy. Then add egg yolk and vanilla and mix until well combined. Add flour into this and mix well by using your hands. After that make this dough into a rectangle shape and wrap in an oil paper.
- To prepare the chocolate dough, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Then add the egg yolk. Incorporate flour and cocoa powder by using your hands. Make this dough into a rectangle shape and wrap in an oil paper.
- Refrigerate both doughs around 01-02 hours.
- Get the vanilla dough, dust some flour on it and roll the dough into a rectangle shape.
- Do same to the chocolate dough and flip the chocolate dough on top of the vanilla dough.
- Roll both doughs into a log and then refrigerate again for 01 hour.
- Then slice the dough into cookies and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake these cookies around 12-15mins under 180C in a pre-heated oven.
- Let them cool down completely on a cooling rack.
