Valentine Rose Cake with Butter Cream Icing

Surprise your valentine with this butter cake with a mouthwatering butter cream icing.

Ingredients:Cake Batter

  • All-purpose Flour – 250g
  • Sugar – 250g
  • Margarine – 250g
  • Eggs – 04
  • Milk – ¼ cup
  • Baking Powder – 02 tsp
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp

Ingredients:Butter Cream Icing

  • Shifted Icing Sugar – 350g
  • Butter (Room Temperature) – 150g
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Milk – 01 tsp
  • Food Coloring

Method:

  • Beat margarine and sugar until soft and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat.
  • Then add vanilla.
  • Mix flour with baking powder and gradually add this into the batter.
  • After that add milk.
  • Transfer this cake batter into a baking pan and bake the cake around 35-40mins under 180° C in a pre-heated oven.
  • To make butter cream icing, beat butter around 05 mins until it becomes light color.
  • After that add vanilla and food coloring.
  • Now add half of the icing sugar and beat.
  • Then add milk and rest of the icing sugar. Mix well until well combined.
  • Once the cake is baked get it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit.
  • Cut the cake horizontally from the middle and make it into two parts.
  • Apply prepared butter cream icing on one part of cake and keep the other on top of that.
  • Then cover the whole cake with icing.
  • After that fill icing into a piping bag and make rose shapes all over the cake.
