Yellow Cake with a Soft Chocolate Frosting…
This buttery cake with a soft chocolate taste will surely take you to heaven. The process of making this cake is very similar to making a butter cake except very few changes.
Ingredients:Cake Batter
- Salted butter – 250g
- White sugar – 250g
- Vanilla – 01 tsp
- Egg yolks – 06
- Flour – 250g
- Baking powder – 02 tsps
- Milk – 110ml
Ingredients:Chocolate Frosting
- Salted butter – 150g
- Icing sugar – 250g
- Vanilla – 01 tsp
- Milk – 02 tbsps
- Cocoa powder – 150g
- Sprinkles for decoration (Optional)
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar until it becomes creamy.
- Gradually add egg yolks while beating.
- Then add vanilla.
- Add flour and baking powder.
- Add milk and mix well.
- Once the batter is ready grease the baking pans with some butter and dust with some flour.
- Transfer the batter equally into baking pans.
- Bake the cake around 35-40mins under 180 ° C in a pre-heated oven.
- For the chocolate frosting beat butter until creamy.
- Then add vanilla and cocoa powder into this.
- Gradually add icing sugar and milk while beating.
- When the cake is ready apply chocolate frosting on top of one cake and keep the other on that.
- Then cover the whole cake with icing.
- Once the whole cake is covered decorate it with some sprinkles.
