The Galle Clock Tower ,The Galle Clock Tower (or Anthonisz Memorial Clock Tower) is located within the Galle Fort in Galle, Sri Lanka. The Clock Tower is a popular landmark and overlooks the central Moon Bastion, on the site of the former guard room. The Clock Tower was constructed in 1883, paid for through public subscriptions by the people of Galle, in recognition of Dr. P. D. Anthonisz. The clock itself was the sole gift of a grateful patient, Mudaliyar Samson de Abrew Rajapakse.

Samadhi Buddha statue at Mahamevnāwa Park in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. The Buddha is depicted in the position of the Dhyana Mudra, the posture of meditation associated with his first Enlightenment. It is obvious to say that this 8 feet statue, carved on granite is an enormous shrine. Samadhi Statue is considered one of the best sculptures in the Anuradhapura era.
Monkey in Anurdahpura. Although, these monkeys especially in sacred city area sometimes cause inconvenience to tourists and pilgrims who visit Anuradhapura, they are a great creation of Mother Nature.
