Noodles Kottu Recipe

Kottu is a very famous food in Sri Lanka. Most of the time Kottu is eaten for dinner. Out of many varieties of making Kottu, Noodles Kottu is another tasty way.

Ingredients:

  • Noodles – 200g
  • Chopped Ginger – 1” piece
  • Chopped Garlic Cloves – 05
  • Cinnamon – 1” piece
  • Green Chilies – 02
  • Tomatoes – 01
  • Big Onion – 01
  • Curry Leaves – 01 spring
  • Salt as per taste
  • Pepper Powder – 01 tsp
  • Chili Pieces – 01 tsp
  • Cloves – 02
  • Carrot
  • Leeks
  • Cabbage
  • Eggs – 02
  • Cooked Chicken pieces & gravy
  • Oil – 03 tbsp
  • Method:

    • Boil noodles & filter excess water.
    • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger garlic, cinnamon & cloves.
    • Let them sauté around 02 mins & then add sliced onions, tomatoes, green chilies and curry leaves.
    • After that add all vegetables.
    • Then add salt, pepper powder and chili pieces.
    • Now we need to add eggs to the same mixture.
    • Then add cooked chicken pieces.
    • Finally mix boiled noodles with the mixture. While mixing noodles add some chicken gravy too. Then this Kottu will be so tasty.
